We're a small group of dedicated Ukulele players who are determined to take our ukulele skills to the limit and push the accepted boundaries of good taste!
The Ukunauts are available for performances throughout the Staffordshire area; and beyond!

We have a very eclectic set of influences, which often reflects which era each member grew up in. It ranges from sixties classics, to rock and roll, light classical, jazz, folk, standards, & modern chart music.
It’s safe to say that “nothing is true, everything is permitted”.
Is nothing sacred?
Time and Place
We meet most Thursday evenings from 8 pm to 10 pm at the Ishta Centre*,
26 Kings Avenue, Stone, Staffordshire ST15 8HD.

Go down the access road at the side of the Ishta Centre. The car park and the entrance are round the back.
New members and visiting players are welcome but please contact us before you come to make certain it's happening.

Absolute Beginners
Although we try to be encompassing, and help each other out where we can, none of us are teachers.
There are many great free resources on-line to get you started. One we can heartily recommend is three free lessons by Will Grove White, a member of the world famous Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain.

Once you are confident with the contents of these lessons and can play a fair selection of chords, including Bb, feel free to come along and join in one Thursday evening.
By the way Will's book, “Get Plucky with the Ukulele: How To Play Ukulele in Easy-to-Follow Steps”, is a fantastic introduction to the ukulele.
